The Sundre Visitor Information Centre is operated by the Sundre Chamber of Commerce. Volunteers greet and welcome visitors as well as answer questions about services, events, businesses and activities available in the area.

Founded in 1984, the Medicine River Wildlife Centre is a non-profit organization that cares for injured, orphaned and compromised wildlife. MRWC now treats over 2200 wild patients annually, provides education programs, answers 10,000 phone calls and welcomes visitors to the nature trail and playground. Sundre Band Parents Society
The Sundre Band Parents Society is a non-profit group who support the band programs in both River Valley School and Sundre High School. This dedicated group organize fundraisers, help with concert preparation and advertising, solicit sponsorship, prepare information for grant applications and purchase instruments and other necessary items that the programs would otherwise be unable to afford.

Sundre Bike and Ski Club
Cross Country Ski Coach: Assist a certified instructor by skiing with a small group of children or youth as they practice skills and enjoy the trails on the rodeo grounds and Snake Hill. Equipment Operator: During the winter, the Club maintains trails for cross country skiing and single track paths for walking and fat biking. Communications: The Club has a Website, Facebook page, and Instagram account that need frequent updates that reflect our enthusiastic use of Sundre’s in-town wilderness.

Sundre Search and Rescue
Sundre Volunteer Search and Rescue Society is looking for new volunteers to join our team of searchers. Sundre SAR works under the command of the RCMP and goes where the police and fire services will not or cannot go. Sundre SAR services the town and West Country, including areas in Mountain View County, Clearwater County, and the MD of Bighorn. Join our team to learn survival skills and help others in need.
